Destination Organisation Love Loch Lomond has teamed up with media producer Paul Saunders to produce a series of five 20-minute audio guide podcasts to capture a real flavour of the destination, including features and interviews, focusing on some of the most interesting things to see and do in and around Loch Lomond.

The podcasts are free to download from iTunes and can be downloaded anywhere in the world, allowing listeners and visitors to Loch Lomond to find out more about a wide range of activities available as well as highlighting whisky distilling, walking the West Highland Way, the conservation work of the National Trust for Scotland and more.

The 20-minute audio guides to one of the most scenic parts of Scotland feature a variety of activities and locations. Highlights so far include climbing Conic Hill and walking part of the West Highland Way, Osprey spotting with Cruise Loch Lomond, indulging in a luxury spa treatment at the Carrick Spa, Cameron House; horse riding at Duncryne Equitation and Trekking Centre and a quirky Segway Safari with outdoor activity company Can You Experience on the beach at Loch Lomond Shores, Balloch.

The lastest episode, Episode 3, features The West Highland Way, with a detour to the top of the Titan Crane in Clydebank, a pit stop for a tour and taste at Glengoyne Distillery and a visit to local favourite The Oak Tree Inn, Balmaha and its Village Store, which sells locally sourced and produced food and drink and back-packing kit for walkers. The journey ends with a boat trip to the island of Inchcailloch, taking in a woodland walk and stunning views.

The podcasts, recorded live and on location, are fun to listen to, informative and highlight the sheer range of outdoor activities and things to do in and around Loch Lomond, for visitors and locals alike, many of which will be on the doorstep, or within easy reach of Glasgow, Stirling and Edinburgh.
